About me

I am a Spanish pianist based in The Netherlands and was born in 1998 in Málaga, a city in the south of Spain. In my family there are some musicians, so music has been always part of my life. We had a piano at home and I particularly loved the sound of this instrument, so I started my piano lessons in a music school at the age of seven with María Isabel Sánchez de Alcázar. Some time after, I received cello lessons from Evelyn Martínez for three years. When I had to decide what to study after secondary school, I had no doubts that I wanted to be a professional musician. Therefore I studied the bachelor of Classical Piano with Antonio Simón at Málaga Conservatory.

From 2021 to 2023 I did a Master in Classical Music in ArtEZ Conservatorium in Zwolle (The Netherlands) with the teacher Helena Basilova. For some months I received lessons also from Däniel van der Hoeven.

I have attended masterclasses from David Kuyken, Mei-Ting Sun, Tuija Hakkila, Alina Artemyeva and Ángel Sanzo, among others. Since I love the music of the Baroque Periode and I am interested in historically informed practice, I was the harpsichordist of Young Baroque Orchestra of Andalusia from 2017 until 2021. In 2019 I won the Soloist Competition of Málaga Conservatory in Chamber Orchestra Category, which gave me the opportunity to play Mozart Concerto D. 466 with the orchestra of the conservatory.

One of my main passions is chamber music. Currently I am member of the Melifluo Trio and I play regularly with different ensembles. I also teach music lessons.
